Cleveland, Tennessee – It is imperative for players to find opportunities to train and get better in the off-season. Finding weekends where players can travel and get out of their comfort zone can pay dividends in the future. The last weekend in February gave middle school players a chance to compete and gain valuable exposure before the travel basketball season kicks off in March. Here is a look at the players from Team 2.

Team 2 was full of energy and skill. Class of 2023 point guard Halli Stuffle of Bean Station, Tennessee, did not let her age get in the way of her making plays. Although one of the youngest in the gym, she showed vocal leadership and handled the ball with confidence. Sadie Thompson of Alabama was a standout from the camp. She is a confident shooter who can hit the spot up and the pull-up in transition. Her experience playing at the high school level showed through in this setting. Class of 2021 guard Haylee Johnson of Jamestown, Tennessee, is a left-handed shooter who can punish defenders who close out too slowly. In addition to her accurate shooting she also showed ball handling ability to make her a dual threat on the perimeter.

Amanda Clabo

Madison Kelly

KJ LoSorsa of Maryville, Tennessee, attacked the basket with aggression during the camp. Her instincts on the court make her a valuable teammate. Class of 2021 Amanda Clabo of Sevierville, Tennessee, brings a high running motor and handles the basketball well. Her overall skill set points to much potential in the future. Class of 2021 wing Madison Kelly of Maryville, Tennessee, showed very good offensive footwork  even when closely guarded. She is a good spot up shooter who should only improve with repetition.

Tessa Miller

LeeAnna McNulty

Two of the biggest impact players in the camp were on Team 2. Tessa Miller of Crossville, Tennessee, used her size to her advantage to score and rebound around the bucket. She is more than just a tall player, she has real skill to complement her game. She has footwork and range on her jumper. Class of 2021 forward LeeAnna McNulty of Honaker, Virginia, has an engine that never quits. She does it all on the court and does it well. She hit mid-range shots and rebounded her position. Her energy and leadership will make her an impact player for years to come.
