HALF-COURT: ‘1’ Play – Don Meyer
This is one of the go-to plays that coach Don Meyer used with his Lipscomb Bisons teams in the 80s and 90s for his post players. Meyer’s system of post play worked so well that his program produced back to back 4,000 point scorers in Philip Hutcheson and John Pierce. Pierce and Hutcheson continue to rank first and second as the all-time leading scorers in college basketball history.
