Team 1 was headlined by dynamic guard Cameron Swartz of Fellowship Christian School. Fresh off of a campus visit with head coach Joni Taylor at the University of Georgia, the 2018 prospect did not disappoint.
This team also had plenty of youth with budding talent. Lilly Hart and Cassie Mesh from Trickum Middle School have shown progress since our training sessions last fall. Another pair of eighth graders contributed nicely for this team. Ella Heard and Brook Fugel of Hebron Christian Academy are players that are just starting to get comfortable in competitive situations.
Keep a close eye on class of 2021 Ashlee Locke of Flowery Branch. The 6-foot-1 forward blocked shots, hit 3-pointers and showed an improved motor at the workout.
Class of 2019 guard Kendall Bolmer of Dacula HS has a reputation as a knockdown shooter. Yet it was the other parts of her game that impressed us today. She is becoming more mobile and confident with her ball handling.
And perhaps the best new name from this team was Jalyn Tillerson of Alpharetta HS. The 2019 guard made plays and has athleticism to contribute in a variety of ways.
