LEBANON, Tenn. — The third annual coach Hemi Showcase saw a host of kids from throughout the Southeast and Midwest embark to Lebanon, Tenn., for a weekend of skill development and competition. Here is a look at some of the standouts from a weekend of hoops.

Jordyn Cambridge (Nashville, Tenn.,) Ensworth   

It was a strong showing for class of 2018 guard Jordyn Cambridge; she stood out with her playmaking ability and was able to create offense for herself and others by making plays off the bounce and using her size to create passing angles.

Spring Showcase Standouts

212Jessee Wallis 225LEBANON, Tenn., – The third annual CoachHemi.com Spring Showcase provided individuals the chance to play in front of national media. This showcase camp blended skill work and competitive game play to challenge players in multiple ways. With travel basketball season on the horizon, this camp provided a glimpse of some of the top names from the Midwest and Southeast. Here is part two of the top standouts from the camp.

Jessee Wallis – (Dayton, Tenn.), Rhea County HS – 2016

Wallis emerged as the top unsigned senior in the State of Tennessee after yet another solid performance this March. In a game full of college prospects, Wallis knocked down numerous jumpers and affected in other ways on Sunday afternoon.

What We Learned from the CoachHemi.com Spring Showcase

Jonathan Hemingway and his CoachHemi.com crew put on yet another great Coach Hemi Showcase on March 12th & 13th at Lebanon High School. There were 90 players from 9 different states that attended the event, bringing a large variety of talent and playing styles.

On Friday afternoon players went through high intensity skill sessions led by Christian Simmons, then finished up the day playing a 3-on-3 tournament. Aaron Grace Lester, Savanna Owens & Jayla Hemingway were named 3-on-3 tournament champions.
