Maggie Vick – Morristown, Tennessee – 2021
Vick is a 6-4 post player from East Tennessee. She established herself as one of the state’s top post players in her class this summer. She picked up an offer from Wofford College this month. We saw her talent first hand last fall at the #CoachHemi865 Showcase in Knoxville, Tennessee. At the time she was just coming off of an injury that kept her out for most of the 2018 season. Her talent was obvious, nonetheless, as she was effective at scoring and rebounding in her area. She also showed flashes of hitting the trail jumper, which is very important in today’s game for a post player.
Abi Oates – Register, Georgia – 2020
Oates gave her verbal commitment to North Greenville College this month. She is a do-it-all type of player. She finds ways to be productive even when she does not have the ball in her hands. However, she has proven that she can score points when her team needs her the most during the high school and travel ball seasons. She projects to provide immediate leadership for coach Kelvin Long and his roster. See her highlights from two years ago below.
Kammy Peppler – Oshkosh, Wisconsin – 2022
Peppler quickly rose to prominence in the state of Wisconsin while playing for the Wisconsin Flight program. The floor general provides a great floor game with shot making ability. Earlier this month, Peppler gave her verbal commitment to University of Milwaukee-Wisconsin. Although still an underclassman, Peppler and coach Kyle Rechlicz appear to be a perfect fit in the Horizon League. See Peppler’s highlights below from the #CoachHemiFinal4 Showcase last spring.
Kayla Mulkey – Braselton, Georgia – 2019
Mulkey recently announced her decision to continue her education and basketball career at Wesleyan College in Macon, Georgia. Second year head coach Kyle Herring considers this a homerun signing given Mulkey’s on-court talents. Mulkey projects to put up big numbers in Herring’s up-tempo, 3-point shooting style.
Olivia Rinehart – Bon Aqua, Tennessee – 2020
Rinehart was a camp favorite from the #CoachHemiShowcase. A multi-year camper from the time she entered high school, Rinehart showed consistent improvement year after year. She announced her commitment to Bethel University this month. Head coach Chris Nelson will get a versatile guard with great size. She projects to give an immediate contribution for a successful program in West Tennessee.
Chelsea Aalim – Hampton, Georgia – 2020
Aalim has worked hard to get an opportunity at the next level. Her goals are coming into focus heading into her senior season of high school. She picked up an offer from Palm Beach Atlantic while playing with OMG-TGE this summer. Aalim, a high energy two-way guard, also visited Augusta University for elite camp this month. See her highlights from 2017 below.
