Coach Jim Boone and his staff do a remarkable job with their program. It is obvious to see that his players are fully bought in to what they teach. After watching their first practice I was able to observe a few keys that I think are very important in practice. 1: He lets his assistants coach. 2:They change ends from drill to drill. 3: Managers bring players water while shooting free throws(no wasted time). 4: Players have to organize each other in drill work(forces them to communicate). 5:He does not use a whistle, he wants players to get use to his voice.[private]Delta State Practice 1[/private]
