This multi-step half court set was used by the Cavaliers to get some quick action in the half-court. Utilizing good spacing and second cuts after making the initial screen are important to making any action work, but especially this one.

As he showed at the Nike Extravaganza, he is guard who is willing to score the ball from behind the 3-point line and off the drive. The 6-foot-1 guard showed his ability to pick his spots as a scorer and a facilitator for his Centennial High School team. He reminds us of Gonzaga signee Josh Perkins who plays for Huntington Prep Academy. Barefield might even have a slightly quicker first step than Perkins, which could bode well in the future for the California native.
