Sean Smith, currently a women’s assistant coach at Maine University, was the first person to introduce me to the Horns action. With his experience as a professional player overseas, he saw the evolution of the game years before the rest of us in America did. He told me at the Peach State Basketball Elite 32 Summer Jam in July of 2010 that all of the European teams ran this action almost exclusively. Sure enough nearly four years later we see this set and multiple variations of this action being ran at every level. This set quickly became a staple at our #TeamEBA camps as a way to teach offense.
